The story began a few years ago in London with Ryan and Adam, f**king around with burger recipes down the hall from each other in an East London housing estate.  Back home in Auckland years later, initially as a piss-take after too many beers, the idea for a burger joint called “The Bearded Clam” was born. Simple, classic burgers with a rotating roster of specials.

We’re not in it for fame or glory but for the love of good burgers and the desire for something better; as well as extra pocket money for tattoos.

We only use ethical products from happy animals, our packaging is 100% biodegradable and I’m pretty sure we recycle.

We’re currently not taking on any engagements but will be taking over kitchens when and where we can in 2018.
